GET SOME

It takes a lot to push yourself going against the will to stop, and from there it takes a lot more to exceed your body's natural desire to rest.

It does hurt. It is rough. It is tough, and I agree it is unbearable, unpleasant and relentless.

It is not typical. It is not routine. It is not machine. We are not prisoners of today's modern perception of fitness. In fact, we are against and frowned upon at "globo" gyms and recreational fitness centers everywhere.

We believe in survival. Our specialty is not specializing, we punish the specialist. We contain performances in elite levels of cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination and accuracy. Our goals are to sport world class fitness.

Our times are personal, our sweat is rewarding. Our girls are filthy, our heroes are honored. The whiteboard shows our progress. Motivation is key, enthusiasm is our atmosphere.

It is Crossfit. It is not a fad, it is a lifestyle. A community all over the country and even parts of the world where people work hard, they break away from the normal gyms, and it pays off well. It is extremely challenging. It is brutal. It is intense, but none of us quit, and that is something I admire the most.

"Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tints of cloud of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-
It's when things go wrong when you mustn't quit."
