I am Capable

Capable:

1. Having the ability, fitness, or quality necessary to do or achieve a specified thing.
2. Able to achieve efficiently whatever one has to do; competent.
 
 
     I strongly believe that anyone who walks into a CrossFit gym, sticks with it for about three months will soon realize what it means to be fit and will notice dramatic changes with their body. Someone who sticks with the CrossFit program for three months will also become a completely different person. Your confidence and self-esteem will increase. Your enjoyment of life will be much more happier and you will experience strong urges to excel and progress with everything you do in your life.
 
One word to describe what a CrossFitter is:  CAPABLE.
 
We are capable to do many things! As a trainer, I enjoy hearing various success stories that was a result from their CrossFit training.
 
For example:
 
  • Faster times from races that include running, biking, swimming.
  • Many success stories of pursuits from police officers
  • Getting back into the dating game with confidence
  • Getting off medication for diabetics.
  • Knee aches or previous injury "magically" goes away after A LOT of money spent elsewhere.
  • Professional athletes and college athletes increasing their stamina for their sport (we have had professional golfers, baseball players, mixed martial artist, and a basketball player representing her country a long with many college athletes)
     Three months and you will be capable too. It takes someone motivated to walk through that door. I have heard stories of some clients driving into the parking lot and going back home because of being afraid to walk in (Don't worry Rick has done that as well).  Intimidation is a huge factor for a lot of people when they start thinking about joining a CrossFit affiliate.  However, if you stay motivated and just walk into the fire, you will soon realize how much more capable you really are. You can do a lot more than you think. Let us prove it to you.
 
 
I wrote this blog after seeing what SICFIT had posted on their facebook page. The question was:
 
"This may be the toughest question yet. What would you call a CrossFit athlete? We need a word. 3,2,1, Go. #CrossFit"
 
 
My answer: CAPABLE!
