A Journey

This is a picture of Melisa working on her pull ups during a birthday celebration. We took a party bus to San Diego. There was about 25 party animals during this extravaganza, and most of them were CrossFitters! The CroossFit family is strong. I can almost guarantee you that no other gym out there has clients close to each other as well as CrossFit affiliates. I can also guarantee that no other gym will get you in better shape than a CrossFit affiliate. This is being proved all round the world, results are no gimmick. This movement is growing faster than any other fitness paradigm ever.

My journey started over two years ago. I turned my fathers death into something life changing. My father was morbidly obese, our lifestyle as I look back was shortening our lifespan. We were so blind that it had to take a life away to actually see what we were doing as a family. There are many families, MANY families out there that are experiencing this same lifestyle. If not, worse.

What started as a change for myself, turned into a change for many of the clients at Canyon CrossFit. Our facility became more than a gym, it is a home. It is a home to share our experiences of becoming real human beings. To become functional, athletic and to some of those with determination, elite.

You will not find this anywhere else. This will never go away. This is a movement. A new journey to help motivate the rest of the world. I just hope that my family and the family members of my clients wake up and start making a change.

It is sad to see that even after my fathers death, caused by bad eating habits, my family continues to make the wrong decisions.

There are a lot of stories like mine.
